 Ted Kay- Co-producer

As the president and owner of TMK Productions, Ted Kay has a long history of producing powerful and moving broadcast documentaries. Kay is the recipient of two Emmy Awards for the internationally acclaimed PBS documentary Choosing One's Way: Resistance in Auschwitz, hosted by Ellen Burstyn. Many of Kay's documentaries have focused on major healthcare issues, including Alzheimer's, Attention Deficit Disorder, Autism and general mental health.

Recently Kay wrote and produced There is a Bridge on PBS, a groundbreaking documentary that explores a different side of Alzheimer's disease. In 2012 Kay produced The Heart of the Matter, an Emmy Award nominated documentary examining the number one birth defect in the world, congenital heart disease. Hosted by Chris O'Donnell, The Heart of the Matter is being broadcast on PBS in more than 400 cities. Kay just finished producing a documentary, The Journey to A Miracle: Freedom from Insulin exposing a very rare form of diabetes known as Monogenic Diabetes.

Ted is a graduate from Northwestern University.


Larissa Woodward - Lead Editor

Larissa received her BS in Film and Video Production from Grand Valley State University in 2010. In 2007, she began working as a production assistant at WGVU, a PBS affiliate, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2010 she became a full-time producer, director and editor for a variety of the station's weekly and monthly news and entertainment programs.

During her tenure at WGVU, Larissa was part of the production team that produced the documentary, LZ Michigan: A Journey Home. Serving as equipment manager, camera operator and assistant editor, "LZ Michigan features the true stories of local Vietnam war survivors as they provide a unique emotional perspective discussing the realities of life and death and what it feels like to return home from an "unpopular" war." The documentary went on to be nominated for a Michigan Emmy Award and was the recipient of eleven Michigan Association of Broadcasters Awards for WGVU.

Joining TMK in 2011, Larissa has found her place in the editing suite, working closely with clients to guarantee the highest quality programs that meet and exceed our clients' expectations.


Don Ford - Cinematographer

Don Ford Productions is owned and operated by Don Ford. He is an award winning cinematographer and editor and though feature films and cinema are his main influences he has a background in traditional art, graphic design and photography. Don studied both traditional cinema and experimental video while at the Institute of Art and Design. After Graduating with honors in 2008 Don started freelancing as a Production Assistant, Assistant Director, Director of Photography and Editor. Don’s freelance work includes Award Winning feature films, PBS Documentaries and short films. Collaboration, creativity, storytelling and a humble approach are Don’s philosophies for business and life. Storytelling is the goal, but people are what matter.
